Faster Way to Fat Loss with Liz Harmon-Watkins

We’ve all been there — trying to hurry and lose that extra 10 lbs. before some big event, depriving ourselves of food during the week and binging all the things on the weekends. Fad diets are not sustainable and honestly, they don’t work. I have experienced fad dieting in the past and it never ended well for me. A few years ago, I tried out Faster Way to Fat Loss and loved the concept of this lifestyle change. Many of those concepts stuck with me over the years and I was thrilled when my coach, Liz Watkins asked me to join her next round back in November!

Today, I am switching things up On the Daily and welcoming Liz as a guest writer to share her story and tell yall a little bit about her experience with Faster Way to Fat Loss and why she decided to become a coach!

Liz’s Story

The FASTer Way to Fat Loss is so much more than a diet program. In fact, the FASTer Way is not a diet at all, but a lifestyle that can be suitable for you and your entire family!

The FASTer Way incorporates cutting edge nutrition strategies with quick, effective workouts so that you see your best results! We also believe in the power of community and accountability and believe that in order for you to be your best self and reach the goals you set, you need to surround yourself with a community of others that will support you and hold you accountable!

The FASTer Way to Fat Loss starts with the principle of intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is NOT a diet it is simply an eating schedule that gives your body time to heal at digestive rest! When implementing the intermittent fasting strategy, many people see improvements in digestion, inflammation, and sleep quality.

In the FASTer Way, we also encourage consuming whole foods! We like to say that if it comes from the ground or has a mother, it’s fair game! We train our clients on how to eat the correct amount of macronutrients and we like to fill our macronutrients with whole foods to ensure we get plenty of micronutrients!

Exercise in the FASTer Way is unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced. You don’t need 2 hours in the gym to see results! You are busy, you don’t have time for that- and the FASTer Way knows that! That’s why we incorporate guided, 30-minute workouts each day, so that you don’t waste any of your valuable time!

When living life the FASTer Way, many clients see the improvements they are looking for with their fat and weight loss goals, but learn that what they gain is so much more valuable! The FASTer Way community is second to none! You receive coach accountability with daily check-in’s and personalized help! This program is truly tailored to your unique needs. I began my first 6 week round of the FASTer Way in August of 2019. I had recently got engaged and like any bride, I wanted to look my best at my wedding. During my first round of the FASTer Way, I lost 8 pounds and 8 inches total! I gained a ton of energy and I learned that these were strategies that could be implemented even after the six week round ended. During my first round, the most surprising thing to me was how much I was undereating! Even eating foods that were not good for me and constantly feeling full and bloated, I was still not eating enough! When I really started to track and watch what I was putting into my body, I began eating more food than ever before and my energy increased so much!

Fast forward to March of last year, the pandemic began and school shut down (I am a third grade teacher)! I had fallen back on some of my progress after losing my grandmother and moving my wedding to January. I knew that I was going to be out of school for an extended period of time and I could either make the decision to come out of the shutdown in the best health or the worst health of my life. I chose to take my FASTer Way knowledge to better my health and wellness, and in doing so learned about the FASTer Way coaching opportunity. As much as I didn’t like being stuck at home, I really used the time for good and it became one of the most important times in my life for my health and wellness goals. 

The physical changes are evident, but it’s what I’ve gained on the inside that you can’t see! I have more energy! I have learned what my body needs and how to best fuel it for my busy lifestyle! I have gained so many friends and a community of women that are consistent every day, even when the rest of the world changes! I LOVE the FASTer Way lifestyle and would like to invite you to join me for a round of the program! It will truly change your life!

Final Thoughts / My Results

Wow! Aren’t those results amazing?! Liz has been a wonderful coach and shows that this program is attainable and for a variety of women and men. Working, SAHM, for people who travel, etc. I started my round of FWTFL in November weighing in at about 139 lbs. At the end of the program I weighed in at 134 lbs. and went down an entire pant size!! I will be honest, I didn’t do the workouts every day, but I stuck very strict to the intermittent fasting and diet plan. FWTFL even has a vegan/vegetarian option that was suited just for me!
